At face value, with what we hear through the media, it all seems a done deal. 'It's now conclusive', 'There is no longer any doubt', they scream, and the one that really gets me 'The debate is over'. This utterance was spouted by David Miliband, currently the Foreign Secretary, when he was Secretary of State for Environment. A stupid statement that says he certainly shouldn't be advising the populus of the UK with regard to climate science. Science is about debate. It's about theories and claims and counter claims about those theories. The debate is never over in science. Don't be fooled by the images of cooling towers and chimneys billowing out vapour that always accompany news items regarding GW. This is to give a totally false impression that this is the human produced CO2 being pumped into the atmosphere. It is certainly not. All you are seeing, on the whole, is plain old water vapour and any CO2 within is extremly miniscule or non existent.

Another annoyance are references to any weather event of note is attributed to AGW or GW. This is mainly down to the non-scientists, the politicians, the news reporters and ill-informed journalists looking to sell a few papers. It just isn't possible to blame any single weather event on GW. Those that make these claims are either totally ignorant, scaremongering, have other agendas or all of those.
