Temperatures fell to a very surprising -2.8°C with me by 02:25 this morning, before rising as the mist and murk spread across the forecast area. So a generally murky start with some pockets of drizzle around in places.. Mist/cloud expected to lift and thin to an extent, but looks likely that a mainly cloudy day is in store, perhaps with some brief brighter spells in places. Temperatures peaking at 6C or 7°C

WIND:-

Mainly light throughout and generally from the NNE, veering ENE/E through the day

 

EVENING & OVERNIGHT:-

Looks set to be remain generally cloudy at first perhaps with some further patchy drizzle in places. Some clearer spells for a time possibly late evening, into early hours, but more cloud looks set to spread across the forecast area trhough the early hours. Temperatures falling to 1°C or freezing under the clearer skies

Light throughout and mainly from the East
