This is a longtime work in progress that began seveeral years ago but hasn't been 'touched' for over 4years. - I am researching all the 'Official' Met Office reporting sites as there are concerns from not just myself, but of many, as to how many of these official stations actually meet the published siting criteria for an official Met Office station and how representative of actual air temperature these stations actually are, be that temperature be too high or too low. I'm certain that I have correctly identified the Met Enclosures, If I haven't, I would really appreciate if you notify me and I will correct any errors.The sites have been identified using locations indicated by the Met Office on their Climate Network page using Google Earth and Google Street View.
